Window placement problem in MacOS Sierra 10.12.2

Chris Brown
Hi -- I upgraded about a month or so ago, but just noticed that my multiple windows
no longer open where I put them on screen, but get stuck into a single
window with breakout tabs.  Anyone know why this happened, and more importantly,
how to fix it?

for ex., running this

(
x = Window.new("test",Rect(0,200,100,100)).front;
y = Window.new("test",Rect(110,200,100,100)).front;
z = Window.new("test",Rect(220,200,100,100)).front;
)

they all get parked in the same window!

I'm running SC 3.8.0 ...  thanks for any help...

Hah, looks like an OSX feature! :

Specify when documents open in a tab: Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Dock.

Nice, actually ;)

What version of OS X are you on? I would agree that it’s an OS X problem, I get the expected response from the code.

Hey, belated thanks for tracking down this "feature" for me -- put it to bed now, what an easy fix!
